No doubt, the Pacha, opened in 1973, has become one of the most famous clubs on the "white island" and through its numerous derivatives gained a world-wide popularity. Located close to the El Divino it is just about 15-20 minutes away from Ibiza-City's main-road. It is one of the bigger clubs on Ibiza and takes about 3000 people. Yet, it has kept a flair of a rather comfortable house-club. This flair is achieved by a nice and impressive decoration that changes daily with different parties. Another reason for the Pacha's great popularity is its steady high-class line-up. For instance, Roger Sanchez's "Release yourself"-party (monday) and Erick Morillo's "Sublimal Session"-party (wednesday) celebrate their events inside the Pacha. A stylish decoration and a great line-up explain why the Pacha is one of the most expensive clubs on Ibiza. Depending on what season, entrance-fees are between 35 and 60€ - ouchhhh. One free drink included in premium-tickets helps sooth about that. As in any other club on Ibiza prices for drinks about about the same, that is 8-10€ for a beer, 8€ for a water and 12 € for Vodka-Lemon. Despite these issues, a night inside the Pacha will not be forgotten. An international crowd as well as locals make their way inside. Unlike most other clubs the Pacha is open throughout the whole year. After main-season (october until may) however doors only open on friday and saturday. Probably the most famous crowded parties are "Release yourself" and "Sublimal Session". You better make it inside in time unless you like waiting in line. Unfortunately these very popular parties happen to be extremely crowded resulting in little space on the dancefloor. That's why the Pacha offers enough comfortable places to relax at until the dancefloor is less packed. If you still rather want to keep moving you can watch around, there has got to be some spot that you have not yet checked. If you are on vacation on Ibiza, a visit of the Pacha definitly is worth - be it simply to boast "I was inside the Pacha".
